01. Purpose/Scope
This procedure describes the requirements for engagement of subcontractors or supplies from a major vendor. In order that project quality is assured and to protect project employees, the environment and assets from problems or conditions created in the course of any project work being carried out by subcontractors the following conditions must be met. It is the subcontractors responsibility to conform to Federal and State legislation and project policies and procedures. To achieve this, the clauses set out below should be included in all contracts awarded that require subcontractors to perform work on a Redpath site.
