The purpose of this plan is to outline the requirements of the Redpath Australia Plant Yard in Brisbane and to provide guidelines for an emergency management framework that fulfils clear and defined objectives during emergency response and recovery.
The Emergency Management Plan covers actions required to manage emergencies and ensure that all staff and visitors are adequately informed of their responsibilities in the case of such an event. This document outlines training and management procedures in place to ensure minimal risk to occupants during an emergency situation. The roles of wardens and other persons of responsibility are outlined and requirements for training and assessment of responsible persons are provided.
This document also serves as a point of reference and record for documents required to be made available to stakeholders as outlined in the Fire and Rescue Service Act 1990 and the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.
